Money.
Investing in gold is risky since the price of gold changes nearly every minute. Lets say you had £25,000 worth of gold, thats nearly 20 ounces of gold as of the time i'm posting this, and the gold price fell way below the price you bought it out, that gold you own, is now dropped in value.

So, Money for me please.

I think gold is worth than money at some moment. Do you know inflationary? If your country got high level inflationary you should hoarding gold rather than money

Gold, unlike money, is much more expensive, but money plays a more important role in our world.

In my opinion money, because money will be more useful in life, and this gold bar to what? To swallow? I choose money because they can have a lot of benefits.

to choose money is bullshit, gold will always have a worth, money is only printed paper and can lose the worth from one day to the other

Neither - why hold something like money which is not an asset but a medium of exchange which can be devalued by governments...
Similarly why hold gold, it generates no income.

Better off holding shares with a dividend yield, property with a rental income or bonds with an annual coupon.

Gold all the way. Although, if i obtained a gold bar somehow, i'm not sure what i would do with it, probably sell it, so i would end up with cash either way lol.

Both of them are quite good but money and gold have their personal pluses and minuses but all in all I prefer money, because you can use them faster than gold. :D

Its all depends... if your getting offered the same amount of money as weight in gold does it really matter ? either way its a financial gain only difference for me is the wife cant just goto the shops with my gold and by clothes unless she seels it first :P
Live life how you want to because you only get one chance to do so..... Have no regrets and make sure you prosper :D

Well lets look at it mathematically:

A standard gold bar weighs 12.4kg.

1 kilo is currently worth $40,112.

Multiply that by 12.4 (weight of one gold bar) and you get: $497,388!!!

Yeah, I'll just get my hands on a gold bar xD
