There's been a debate for many years knowing which communication chat and voice system is the best and safest!
Since the new release of "discord" they think there safest out of them all! but which one do you think is the best?

The question is what is the definition of safe? for me the definition of safe is, noone can hack it or something like that easily and noone safes the chat logs and other things from me on his server

means for me i can only use teamspeak and ventrillo from the listed things and mumble but only on my own server

Back to topic, better is what is the best for you, for me all is ok because i don't want to here music or other crap with a voice client. I don't care if the client has 6 channel sound or not, i don't want to watch a movie with it. I want to here the voice from other people and the voice has only one channel.
Whatever for me Teamspeak is the best because i love much settings, especially if we can talk about if we have too much settings :)

PS: who is using Discord in combination with a website like this is an idiot ;)

Im simple guy, i see discord i vote
I've been on teamspeak, ventrilo, skype and now discord.
most of them i used for my players service and customer service (i ran game servers) until i found discord.
Boom! discord absolutely not new invention for internet chat stuffs, they just take all mainstream benefits as one platform.
personal conversation, group conversation for sake of my gaming community. WP

i cant talk about discord security since i just getting used of discord but all is well until now.

That's depend, in my point of view, of what you are looking for in a voice chating app. I used Teamspeak, Discord and Mumble and this is my classment :
  • Good security : 1 = Teamspeak 2 = Mumble 3 = Discord
  • Nice apprearance : 1 = Discord 2 = Teamspeak 999999999999999 = Mumble
  • Easy to install as Server : 1 = Discord 2 = Teamspeak 3 = Mumble
  • Easy to use as user : 1 = Teamspeak 2 = Discord 3 = Mumble
  • Easy to administrate : 1 = Mumble 2 = Discord 3 = Teamspeak (yes, there are a lot of functionnality on Teamspeak, may be too much ?)
  • Sound quality : 1 = Discord 2 = Mumble 3 = Teamspeak
  • Use of Bandwidth (client and server) : 1 = Mumble 2 = Discord 3 = Teamspeak
  • Best to organise chans : 1 = Teamspeak 2 = Mumble 999 = Discord
  • Easy to quit : 1 = Teamspeak 2 = Mumble 9999999999999999999999 = Discord (WHAT THE HELL THIS FU***G CROSS DOESN'T QUIT THE APP ??? ARE YOU STUPID DEVS???)
  • Client parametters : 1 = Teamspeak 2 = Mumble 3 = Discord
  • Client Informations : 1 Teamspeak 2 Mumble 3 Discord
  • Cost / slot : 1 = Discord 2 = Mumble 3 = Teamspeak
And this is about all of what I have in my mind. This is my opinion of course, don't try to correct my list :D

Good thing about teamspeak is that you can mod it and get music bot and all that free :)

You are not able to install Discord on your own server, so it can not be the number one in the list, right is it has not to be on the list at that point

i think teamspeak has the best security and it's pretty easy to be used a user and it's well functional... but i think discord has a better sound quality than teamspeak but teamspeak is still better.. however i think most of the people now uses discord just cuz it's new a easy to be installed also teamspeak is alot better on organizing the channels than discord.
So I would say teamspeak.

Discord has a nice interface, all these years teamspeak is basic and does not integrate with games. But discord does this.

I think Discord is by far the best. Ease of use, amount of things that can be done with bot accounts, easily add custom emojis, free to use forever and just simple amazing UI.

I like Discord atm the most just because it seems to be the most popular, I miss when Teamspeak or Vent was a thing. Teamspeak will always be my favorite though.

Discord is awesome for gaming and building communities though.

Since all my life I've been using skype I'll have to go for skype, if you're talking about voice calling or video chat then maybe another app but for chatting I prefer discord or skype both. :)

I feel like Discord is the safest as it reveal or show your IP in any way.

I think discord is best because you can create your own channel for free and it easy to use
only problem i had is invitasion link but i found a way to get on dns like discord.domain.com so now for me there is no problems with discord like other ts3 lincesed basterds...
