Windows is easier to use and has all games and apps. If Linux would have it I would choose Linux, but it doesn't.

Linux is faster and meant for those who are comfortable with a CLI (command-line interface). While those who need a GUI (graphical-user interface), Windows is better. Truthfully, Windows is more compatible with most apps and programs, so it is more realistic to use even if you are an expert with CLI.

Having both(dual-boot) has been a blessing.

I usually use my Windows mainly for gaming, sometimes for pen-testing. My Ubuntu is solely for development and trying new stuff, kinda like my R&D mode.

If you have experience with Linux then I recommend it because its more stable but if you have little knowledge with Linux then I recommend windows or learn how to operate on Linux.

Windows it's much more easier to use, in my opinion... it has lots of drag and drops applications and it's more user friendly

I personally prefer Linux Based OS's for Servers, I personally use a CentOS 7 installation for my TeamSpeak 3 Server, Web Server, and SinusBot Music Bot Server. However well I believe Linux is great for servers when it comes to gaming Windows for the win. Well I don't like or agree with Microsoft's policy of data mining everything on windows 10, they are a company and I can see why they do it, and in kind I block everything via firewall, hosts edits, and regedit. So in ending If you are looking to host servers go with Linux, it is resource efficient and just great for handling many tasks at once even on older hardware, however if your a gamer of enthusiast then I recommend Windows 10 for you, so you can take full benefit of your high end hardware and more specifically DX12.

Linux for servers simply because it's free and it does the job (Well...most of the time). Though just the sheer amount of application support gives Windows the advantage by far when it comes to user usage. Linus doesn't get report...for anything...

Linux is much better for VPS. It's stable and running much more faster. Windows is best for home computers. That's why it's not that much used on VPS servers. Also, Windows is much more based around GUI interfaces, and Linux was made to work with the CLI or Bash.
