Hello,

I am just wondering if anyone knows of a good hosting control panel for a dedicated server?, Ideally free or low-cost I have used cPanel on a VPS before and was good but licence fee on a dedi is slightly a bit more.

I have tryed webmin, kloxo and vesta but didnt really like these ones anyone know of some decent ones just needs to create hosting accounts as am looking into hosted a few projects.

Hello lsmithx2,

My opinion and when it comes to web hosting when designing a control panel we should always keep in mind that choosing a free panel we are jeopardizing our data.

I recommend Plesk Onyx, to me is the best.

I recommend hosting OVH, good panel have :)

I saw that OVH offered a lot of things. I am unsure if the hosting is any better honestly.

The most recommended for this situation would be ispconfig with nginx, it will have a good performance and low resource consumption.

As Paid panel i recommend cPanel or Plesk.

If you want a free panel, conside using VestaCP. I use it and i am 100% satisfied.

You cand even install a 3rd party for automatic script installs and some code to integrate it with WHMCS.

Hi!
For me the best is DirectAdmin. Here You can choose all nececery settings starting from PHP Version and MySQL DB, up to SSL certs, mod_rewrite and password protected directory. It includes ~50 languages soo You can chose something for You :) For me design is too old but functionality is important. If You have any question for that software, write PM to me.

I use Plesk and have no problems.
In addition, I've been using a (new) test key for about 6 months now, and still work.

So, enjoy Plesk 4free. :D

Certainly a fan of the simplicity within Cpanel but even more a fan of the work they put behind it, Cpanel would be my go to, if not I'd probably used Plesk as that's simple just missing many features.
