Hello,

I am just wondering if anyone knows of a good hosting control panel for a dedicated server?, Ideally free or low-cost I have used cPanel on a VPS before and was good but licence fee on a dedi is slightly a bit more.

I have tryed webmin, kloxo and vesta but didnt really like these ones anyone know of some decent ones just needs to create hosting accounts as am looking into hosted a few projects.

Personally i prefer Cpanel, most hosts offer it for free.
Also seeing you are speaking cpanel etc, i'm guessing it's a linux based VPS?

i have used Zpanel in the past, it's not the greatest, but it's free

I have tried so many panels. Each has its advantages and disadvantages. Really pleased I was only with i-MSCP and the VestaPanel. These are both open source.

But my absolute favorite is the ISPManager. Costs 4 euros per month but fulfills all hosting wishes :)

Try centos web panel or zpanel. For me its cool.
Cpanel is expensive due the license. Try get the nulled version if you 'can'. :P

I would recommend cPanel as its the most current and streamlined version going.

If you are thinking off reselling cPanel would be the way to go.

I personally don't think I've used anything besides cPanel, so I'm biased towards liking it. But I have heard there are other good panels like Black_Spider mentioned above.

cPanel is great, but if you're looking to host the software yourself on your own server, VestaCP is my definite pick. It's super easy to setup, and management is easy and FREE, best of all. Give it a shot :D

I actually found http://www.brainless.us/products.aspx to be amazing for managing gaming servers. Its not free ($25) but its worth the investment and can support multiple server instances.

A good one that I can recommend is VestaCP (https://vestacp.com/). I've been using it for a year now without any issues.

Very fast and with a lot of control. Also, did I mention that it's free? :D

Updates come regularly and the only paid thing it's their File Manager, which you're better without.

Another one I can think of is Ajenti. Not very popular but a great control panel indeed.
Being not so popular makes getting support hard and being so comprehensive makes it hard to understand.

Hey i can recommend KeyHelp for Debian based Systems... thats a very good and free panel for webhosting and includes everything you need to host more than one Website on V-host.
I know also liveconfig, that isn't to bad either but isn't such easy to install as KeyHelp (you will need more background Information on how to work with Linux (for all how to secure your webserver)

So if it should be for free i suggest use KeyHelp its a great tool :)
