IMO there are only 2 advantages for android. First, it is an open-source software. Meaning, there'll be a lot of third-party applications that are developed, a wide variety of flavors, customizations, etc, and Secondly, most devices that use android as OS is cheaper. iOS on the other hand is the opposite. But on my experience, devices with iOS perform better and outlast android based devices.

iOS is only for iCrap so it can not be the right OS
Android is the last shit because it is open source, means more shit ware or viruses and other problems, whatever the android phones are the same shit as iCrap, defect after falling down from over 1 meter

PS: Aluminium and glass is not more quality as plastic because the production costs are the same but plastic is simply more robust, i ever laugh about people who bought a iCrap or a Samsung or whatever which was more expensive as my phone and is broken after a small shock.

If you install CM11, you have a tons of features :P

My sister has an iPhone. I saw in the update center the major feature in new update is NEW EMOJIS...lol

I've had both Android and apple, but I've always enjoyed the apple phones more. They are shiny af, and look fu***** amazing.
They are really expensive, compared to many android phones, but I usually don't switch phones that often. Android just doesn't give the right feel in the hand or the software in it..

Apple is very easy to use, there's not a million widgets and gadgets to customize. The Android is sort of overwhelming in that part. Its almost like it's filled with ideas from every user who has previously bought it..
Apple is practical and very efficient for its tasks, things are in order and its extremely stable.

Also im pretty weak to shiny stuff .. just the looks of it is so clean hehe

if you value stability and mobile accessibility (for users with disabilities), iOS is your platform.  iOS is known for having a huge amount of accessibility for persons with various forms fo disabilities and for having a quite huge selection of "special needs apps" to pick up the slack where the built in features fall short.

If you value having  a consistant experience no matter what iPhone or iPad you pick up (so long as it has not been jailbroken), iOS is your platform.  Conversely, if you value easy customization beyind what is built in to the firmware Android might be a better choice.

If you want to make your head spin with different manufaccturers all making their own flavor of android (example stock android versus touchwiz or sense) the latter two being skins made by Samsung and sony for theri respective android builds then android might be your platform.

if you already own several apple products such as recent Mac conputers, additional iPhones, iPads, iPods, AppleTVs, or the new Apple Watch; or plan to get any of these things, iOS is tightly integrated to these products.

that's the list i can think of righ this second, if i think f more i will edit my post.
Thanks:

I thinki android wins because his structure dosen't block all mods. But ios is simple so... If you wanna modify your phone pick android but if you wanna simple interface pick ios.

It depends on what you want, if you want to mod the device or like open-source stuff than Android is the OS for you. If you like a simple and easy-to-use OS get iOS.
I have both and I love them both equally
I have not tried WP but i might in the future

So far i think iOS > Android in every aspect. Why? Simple, resource managemen and the fact that is an closed system hard to crack/exploit. Besides that, i like the UI better.
I'm an iPhone user since Iphone 3g and i have experience with Android also so i'm not talking about things seen on the internet, i'm talking from personal experience with both of them.

Did you questioned yourself why despite the superior hardware that Android has on it's above average devices, the OS is cluncky and laggy? Well, that's because of bad optimisation a thing i can't get past when using a phone/tablet.
