IP.Page as Homepage

hi,

Describing the problem:

i try to put my homepage (ip.page) on root, forum app in forum folder.

ip.page = domain.com
forum = domain.com/forum

but i can't find any tutorial for that..

i find something in some other forum showing this post..

can anyone here help me with that...

When you set IP.Pages as default, forum should be automatically moved to
http://127.0.0.1/index.php?/forums/

unfortunately that link you sent is dead, if it is that you want like a different page as the homepage it would have been easier you installed ipb as a subdomain or in a folder on the main site so you would have had the main site the ipb in a different directory, for example: example.com (landing page) then example.com/forum would be your forum.

Like previous comment said, you will need to move it to a different folder and updated the appropriate files.

Examples;

forum.<yourdomain>
<yourdomain>/forum

Not sure why you didn't do this before hand, would've saved you the hassle doing it now.
