While my current rig is amazing, rocking the following specs, I always dream of having a bleeding edge NVIDIA RTX Card (gaming + video editing) or high-end Quadro card (video editing)....

Every rig I've ever made, ended up becoming a home server when I chose to upgrade. My old workstation is now my Home Server NAS (named it "Rogue"): https://pcpartpicker...ic/saved/XPMPnQ

However, my new dream (wishful thinking) rig is to be a fully-featured, balls-to-the-wall virtualized beast with hardware passthrough to virtual machines and a whack-ton of storage for all my video editing and backup purposes:

After reading all of that, you must be thinking this endeavor will cost a TON of money... And while, yes it does, I could probably recoup the ROI in a few months of freelance work.
