Why?
Because you can use both PC and PHONE at no cost!
Besides you can make your own channel of discord and it is absolutely free at a very good quality.

Is TeamSpeak even around still?

Personally i use Discord over anything, its much safer, easy to use and plus.. Why not? Teamspeak doesn't have the features discord offers which is brilliant.

I use both... Discord allows you to be mobile and still have chats and not miss anything... Teamspeak also has a lot less spammers and people randomly attacking your server/ inboxing you

Discord because it's way better than TeamSpeak. Discord is like skype + teamspeak in one so i would choose discord.

tbh , i used to connect to ts/skype but now Discord is a god among mortals easy to use , more fonctions , no paid phone app

I prefer teamspeak 3, i'm use ts3 from 7-8 years, its better for me then discord.

I prefer discord but it's was hard to switch from teamspeak to discord when i was constantlly running a teamspeak server for my roleplay server on Gmod
And Discord is better for many things like screen sharing etc

TeamSpeak definitely, not a big fan of discord just seems all over the place.

I prefer Discord over Teamspeak now specially because its free to use and easy to manage servers. But Teamspeak has way better permission system in my opinion. We were using Teamspeak for one of the game servers but eventually moved onto Discord when its released.

Discord of course, i feel like it's easier to use it and it has better quality in voice channels

If i must choose between discord and teamspeak...then i choose teamspeak because the ts server has a limited slot number wich i can set and it's very used on all gaming platforms. Also i recommend you to buy for android phone . It costs only 1.19 $.

I like more Discord,for the moment it s free,and you can make it for friends for more games for another project idk it s universal and good quality

Discord is better this days if you ask me , it became more complex then teamspeak and it has way more features.

In my opinion, Discord is much more better. You don't have to pay to make a server, you have custom emotes, high-quality screensharing, and you also find cool people there! I used TeamSpeak for a while, but I like Discord much more.

Discord, teamspeak feels too outdated for my taste these days. Discord is so much more viable and its free!

Both are great however for general use discord seems better in my opinion.

I prefer discord as it is easier to use, is available on mobile, I don't know if TS is on mobile. It has a really simple design that is easy to get used to as well. As for TeamSpeak, I haven't really used it much and I don't like the design compared to discord, plus all my friends are on discord.

TeamSpeak for ever. Discord is better because has more options like your channels, better chatting, but still TS3 for me is the best
