Add the following to htaccess
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
Options -MultiViews
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
</IfModule>

How do I enter htaccess from my IPB?  I'm using the version
IPS Community Suite 4.4

.htaccess is a hidden file I think there's an option you have to enable that allows you to see hidden files.

However, make sure you have friendly url's enabled in your Admin cp

If you don't have it enabled, you can go and enable it and download the .htaccess file right there and upload it to your root. then after you do that you can edit the htaccess file and add the code
