Can you properly own a ips forum without any programming knowledge?

Discuss, in my opinion, i think that php experience is a must if you want to own a quite popular forum.

You definitely need some basic knowledge, especially if you want to configure and customize the forum to suit your needs.

Nowadays popularity and knowledge are no longer connected in any way. Unfortunately, this is the case.

No coding knowledge is required to own a forum. Either IPS or any other. But yeah, basic knowledge of Internet usage is required.

I am a software developer but the guy who handles my comunity only has basic html/css/js knowledge and its enough to do a great job, but some rare times if any slighgly more complex error appears he needs help to fix it.

yes, to a point. but you need to understand atleast the very basic lingo
