If you prefer gaming, I would go for the Intel.

Around like 1995-2010 it was like ATI - AMD,
but after the new generations from intel it seemed like amd was kinda behind when it came to performance and heat.
Since 6 years using Intel, never had any problems with it.

Intel for gaming, AMD for rendering. Had an FX 9370 a few year back which wasn't bad (I play Arma so it likes single core perf) but then I upgraded to an i7 and got double the frames I was getting with my 9370

Some AMD processors are better than Intel's in gaming. However, Intel tends to have a stronger single-core performance, while AMD tends to have better multi-core performance. ... Any money saved on the CPU+Motherboard can be put into the GPU.

Intel have good processors, but AMD also(but the newer ones). Ill recommend 7 and 8th Intel generation and AMD Ryzen's.

I use Intel for gaming and for just about everything else. I have an old AMD machine that I use in the winter to keep the house warm.

Intel is the best. Amd has issues of overheating which leads to your pc going under.

I think AMD is better you get the same power for a cheaper price. When you buy Intel you are paying for the name more than the product.

By my point of view Intel is more reliable and has lower TDP... but the cost effect is a prize for AMD

then, anything that gives good results for one lower price range, i am in.
