Depends.
On same price, AMD usually offers higher multi-core performance, making it ideal for work intensive setups, like rendering.
While intel offer better single and quad-core performance, as most games only run at max 4 cores, making them good for gaming.
Depends on the price ranges and your goal.

My latest PC I built is with AMD, feels really great. I don't regret it one bit, but I'm seeing Intel coming with some cool stuff lately. Difficult to say..

The new AMD Generation seems pretty cool, but In my opinion AMD is more from rendering, and Intel for Gaming & Live-Stream.
Intel offers better Core Performance.

Me personally, I really like Intel products.

The reason is kind of a silly one, and probably isn't true anymore. Back when I was in college, I took a computer hardware class. Our final test was to order parts for 2 computers. One AMD, and one INTEL. We had about 8 people in this class (I went to a small community college). One person was in a rush, and forgot to plug in the CPU cooling fan. Lets just say that we needed a fire extinguisher, and the person did not pass!

I promise it was not me.

I would say intel ^^

Back in the day AMDs werent so good and were not considered interesting processors, so I always worked with Intel and I find it difficult to try something else because iv literally never had any problems with Intel ^^

Though now a days AMDs are doing really well and have a good price but I just got too used to Intel xD

AMD in my opinion, not well optimized for gaming.
