PHP nowadays is certainly a more dynamic language with more frameworks and adapts to any programmer.

As an aspiring game developer, I've focused a lot on C# and C++ and well as LUA as the primary coding language, But C# is my favorite of them all for sure!

I've started learning C++ after trying C#, Python, Ruby and some LUA and i just have to say that i like C++ the most so far.
It just gets the job done for me and allows me to actually understand whats happening because its just closer to the "bare metal".
Thats what made me lose interest while trying the others.
I dont like it when im only using prewritten stuff and have no idea how it actually works.
Dont get me wrong here, i know that theres about the same thing happening with C++ and that most of the commands you use, especially in the game-hacking scene where im currently interested in, are only pre-written macros, but i like the way it performs and instantly throws you errors that you can just google in one line, compared to some other languages that spam you with mile long error messages most of the time.

Although it may be hated by most that don't use it, PHP still tops my list, the new introductions in php7 are in the right direction.

I've only been using C# for a year, been teaching myself for a GTA multiplayer addon. It's a cool language. I know slight HTML, JS and CSS but not a huge amount and still need to google everything

Reason why games die. - Play the game right.

Other note: Javascript - With the new framework with React.js  - its beautiful with creating open component websites that can be easily modified - compared to php.

React.js is IMO going to be the new kingpin for web building.
