I was working on XBMC for a while then i get into how the addon's work and the server side of things which has learnt me a lot of Python.

I got the stage of creating up-loaders and getting XBMC to connect to a server that was holding all the files.

It was interesting and a big learning curve.

At the moment i love Java. Java is a good programming language if you would like to start with the programming. The syntax is easy to understand and very clean.

Look, it's not the nicest, fastest language around, and although I still get mad ( ) at its oddities, I'd have to stick with my middle-aged reliable* friend Javascript.

I've written about a million lines of Java, it's not the most usable, but it works well enough for me.
