I was working on XBMC for a while then i get into how the addon's work and the server side of things which has learnt me a lot of Python.

I got the stage of creating up-loaders and getting XBMC to connect to a server that was holding all the files.

It was interesting and a big learning curve.

At the moment i love Java. Java is a good programming language if you would like to start with the programming. The syntax is easy to understand and very clean.

I'm currently learning C++, from what I can tell Java is extremely similar to it! Python is also always fun!

I mainly use Lua for Garry's Mod & Payday 1 + 2, otherwise I use PHP for website stuff/API's.

Look, it's not the nicest, fastest language around, and although I still get mad ( ) at its oddities, I'd have to stick with my middle-aged reliable* friend Javascript.

I've written about a million lines of Java, it's not the most usable, but it works well enough for me.
